Help strengthen the church around the world through partnering to equip and training pastors!
85% of pastors around the world have never had access to formal theological training. We are helping to work to address that by taking 2-3 trips annually to locations around the world to train pastors, but we need your help. You can find out more about this effort and how you can help (click here) or you can use the button below to begin partnering with us.
All gifts are tax deductible and all funds go directly to funding trip expenses.

Doctrine
Doctrine seems to be a bad word in many circles, but doctrine is simply a belief or set of beliefs held and taught by individuals or a group. In other words, doctrine is what we believe. Therefore, we aim for our doctrine (what we believe) to come from Scripture which is the perfect revelation of truth.

Faith
Faith is more than mere mental ascent. Faith is a complete trust or confidence in something or someone. In other words, the object of our faith matters infinitely. Faith in Christ, that is, supreme trust in Christ alone, is the basis for our acceptance before God and so we want to increase faith by giving a bigger view of the object of your faith, namely Christ.

The Christian Life
The Christian life is not primarily a life of moralistic living. The Christian life is a life lived in joyful, thankful worship of Christ. The essence of the Christian life is treasuring Christ above everything and everyone else, trusting the reality of what Christ has accomplished on our behalf, and then living with those two realities as the driving force behind everything we do, say and think.

About The Show |
|
The Pastor Discussions Podcast started because we wanted to let others into the kind of conversations we have all the time. We realized that a significant aspect of our growth as Christians was due to having discussions on various topics with others, and we wanted to let others in on those conversations and show that it doesn't have to be awkward or forced. Our aim is to help you see how doctrine, faith and the Christian life intersect and play out in everyday life and conversation as we work through those things ourselves. In other words, we view this as a discipleship tool to help grow your love for, appreciation of, and joy in Christ as the supreme treasure of the universe.
